Itinerary

1. DAY 1: WELCOME / RECEPTION

   Upon your arrival in Puerto Maldonado, the Biodiversity Capital of Peru, we will greet you at the airport. We will start our program with lunch and a city tour by bus.

   Afterward, we will embark on a journey of approximately 2.5 hours. We will then board a canoe to reach the camping site, where dinner and sunset await.

2. DAY 2: COLLPA DE LOROS - ISLA MONOS

   We will wake up very early and head to the hideout to wait and observe the arrival of parrots and macaws in their different colors and varieties. Afterward, we return to the campsite for breakfast. We then prepare to return to Puerto Maldonado, where we will embark on a canoe and travel along the Madre de Dios River. Upon arrival in the city, we will transfer to our lodge, where you will be welcomed with a delicious Amazonian tropical fruit nectar and shown to your comfortable room (bungalow). A sumptuous lunch awaits you in our cozy rustic-designed dining area.

    

   ISLA MONOS
   In the afternoon, accompanied by our specialized guide, we will visit Monkey Island, a unique place in the heart of the Madre de Dios River, just five minutes away from the lodge. During the walk, we will observe extraordinary landscapes with lush flora, hosting a variety of monkey species in their natural habitat, such as Maquisapa, Capuchin, Lion Tamarin, Monk Saki, and with luck, other animal species such as Coati and Sloths, as well as a great variety of birds.

   Finally, we will complete our visit to the island, enjoying the sunset with the most impressive jungle view. We will then return to the lodge and conclude the day with a pleasant dinner.

3. DAY 3: COCHA PERDIDA

   The birds of paradise will sing to wake you up refreshed. A delicious breakfast will provide you with the necessary energy for a morning full of new experiences.

   After breakfast, we will embark on an adventure through the virgin jungle. Accompanied by a local guide, we will take a walk into the deep jungle to reach Cocha Perdida, which is a refuge and feeding ecosystem for a wide variety of animals. There, we will have the opportunity to observe Otters, Caimans, Turtles, Sachavacas (Tapirs), Birds with multicolored plumage, the majestic Jaguar, and a variety of fish species. This area is unique and belongs to the Ecoamazonía Ecological Reserve, which keeps it intact, with immense swamps and diverse aguajales (palm swamps).

   Later, we will reach the extraordinary AMAZONIC VIEWPOINT, from which we can appreciate the vast and magical jungle. Afterward, we will take a pleasant canoe ride around the lake and return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, you can choose to visit the local Botanical Garden or simply relax by the Amazonian Pool.

   In the evening, we will have dinner and rest, surrounded by the sounds of the jungle. Back at the lodge, you can enjoy a delicious dinner. If you’re up for it, you can have a fun night at our bar.

4. DAY 4: DEPARTURE

   After a restful night’s sleep, our breakfast awaits you in the dining area before we begin our return journey to Puerto Maldonado, in time for you to catch your flight back to Lima or any other destination.
