Additional Tips for the Machu Picchu Tour by Car

  • Packing Essentials: Since you’ll be traveling through varying climates, make sure to pack layers. Bring comfortable hiking shoes, sunscreen, insect repellent, a water bottle, and a hat to protect yourself from the sun.
  • Permits for Huayna Picchu: If you wish to hike to Huayna Picchu, be sure to book your permit in advance, as they are limited and often sell out quickly.
  • Weather Considerations: The weather in the region can vary dramatically depending on the season.
