Itinerary
CONDOR VALLEY CHONTA
We will start with the pickup at 6:30 am. We will visit the archaeological site of Killarumiyoc, which means “The Moon Stone.” It was a temple of worship dedicated to the mother Moon (mother of the firmament), representing the feminine side of the universe and influencing fertility, plants, and tides. We will continue our journey to the archaeological site of Tarawasi, also known as Limatambo. This construction was commanded by the Inca Pachacutec and served as a resting place for Inca travelers heading towards Chinchaysuyo. It features a pyramidal stone altar (“Usnu”) and agricultural terraces. We will then go to the city of Limatambo, where we will enjoy a delicious lunch. After lunch, we will board our private van and return to Cusco.
