VISIT TO MACHU PICCHU
After breakfast, we will take the Consettur bus according to the scheduled entrance time to the Machu Picchu Citadel. We will have a 2-hour guided tour of the archaeological site during which you will learn about the Inca culture and visit the areas designated by the state. It is recommended to follow routes 1, 2, and 3 (purchase according to space availability). If you intend to visit the Huayna Picchu mountain, it is advisable to make an advance reservation as spaces are limited.
The visit to Huayna Picchu will be self-guided for climbing the mountain. Once coordinated and after finishing your visit to the Machu Picchu Citadel, we will take the Consettur bus and have lunch in Machu Picchu Pueblo (lunch at your own expense). In the afternoon, we will board the train at the Ollantaytambo station for the return journey.
In Ollantaytambo, a transfer will be waiting to take us back to Cusco by bus.
